Patching Your Computer

Every Windows and Mac computer comes installed with some version of their respective Operating System (OS), like Windows 10 or macOS Mojave version 10.14. As flaws are discovered in Operating Systems, Microsoft and Apple release OS updates, called patches, that fix these flaws and keep your computer safe from hackers and viruses.

The easiest way to keep your OS up-to-date is to enable automatic updating on your computer.
